1/2 ton? Should be a bolt with a nut on it screwed into the inside rear of the steering knuckle. It will hit on the axle housing to limit the steering travel, one each side.
loosen the lock nut, back the bolt out of the hole until it stops the travel where you want it to. Then hold the bolt from moving and tighten the lock nut again.
Make sure the bolt is in deep enough in the hole so it doesn't break out at the position you want, if not swap it out for a longer bolt. You want about a 1/2" or more in the hole to be strong enough to take the hit.
Don't go to far or you will drastically reduce ability to make them sharp turns, these trucks are bad enough as it is, dang near need a country mile to turn around as it is! lol
My ole f-150 with 39's on it, I just let em hit the arms never hurt anything. Only do it now and then anyway.
lol!! I hear ya there on the turnung radius! Mine dont hit too much I can tell when to stop, but others that may be driving my pick up and crank her right to the limit!! simple adjustment I'm gonna do it! Once I find that bolt.
