stuck steering wheel
the mechanism that locks the steering wheel is stuck. not the ignition key cylinder (already removed that). how do I release that mechanism to free the steering wheel.

Are you sure the tire(s) aren't up against something?

front tires are free and on loose dirt. did have a recent truck fire. so if anything inside the locking mechanism was plastic. it "may" have melted causing the defect. that means drilling. but drill where?
