Talking Should I

Going to change exhaust mainfold and studs next week, and was thinking might as well change plugs while there...Assuming a plug change would be just as easy while already there. So, what does everybody think. Oh, and by the way, I am in the mileage range for a plug change. Any special things I should know about a plug change?

Sounds like alot to take on in one weekend, if you haven't done plugs in an Expy 5.4 before plan on the better part of one day just for the plugs.

That doesnt sound fun, but I figured plugs would go a little smoother with all the stuff out of the way.

Plugs on your motor are on the top of motor so removing exhaust manifolds are not going to help you much with the plugs, To remove exhaust manifolds and studs you will be working through wheel well and underneath. Just what I think because I have done both to my 97.

Yeah a plug change on your Expy is a job all on its own. Its not your typical plug change and if and when you do it for the first time, plan on cursing and swearing alot because it will be a pain in the a$$. Like cbradford said, the plugs are on top of the motor, and the plugs towards the rear are a real pain to get to. Good luck but I would definitely tackle one job at a time.
