Hitting the track tomorrow night
I am going to hit the local 1/8 mile tomorrow night against a 05 Dodge Ram Dayton Hemi w/ a flowmaster exhaust and a 07 chevy 1500 4.3 that things he's the quickest thing out there. I ride every day with the Hemi driver to work so I hope to have something good to talk about Monday morning. I believe they will also have a 99-02 24V Cummins with just an edge & exhaust. I hope to have some good pictures and vids with the turn out. I feel pretty confident with the 140 agressive tune and launching in 4wd at boost. Got to get her all shined up and get the schaffers in her tomorrow before I get there though

Going down to the Knoxville 1/8 mile right outside of Maynardville, about an hour from where you will be at, you could come across 25E and come down Hwy 33 and run with me .

the cummins will go down easy. i have a buddy with a 99 and an edge comp box and 5 inch straight pipe, and an intake. i eat him up bad.
if the 4.3 wasnt a typo then i laugh at that one,
watch out for the hemi, some of those run really good.

I heard the chevy ran a 10.6 last year and he claims his Hemi ran a 9.5 or 9.6 last year with just the exhaust done. It is a 2wd reg cab SB truck so it is light and quick.

My tips are to go to a strip before racing someone and get some practice launching. My experience is that with similar mods to yours you will run high 9.6s. Might do better if it is cool out.

Well I am a little worried since I don't have an overboost Annilator might hold her back a little bit. I got a good back road straight right out from the house I'll practice a little bit tomorrow before I head over there .

If you take the center wire on the map sensor and ground it out to the frame it will prevent the map from sending the signal to the pcm that it is overboosting. I know that it is not the best way to go, but it may help you out for a temporary fix so you can beat the pants off of them. I think that the wire is black with a green trace, I could be wrong on that, but I do know that it is the middle wire in the wiring harness.
