State Farm insurance. full coverage glass $6.00 per year,with comp. covers all windows front side and rear. head lights, tail lights, dash clear cover, and anything else transparent.
zero deductible.
new windshield every year!

I have Progressive with full glass and I had my f-150 windshield replaced by Safelite with OEM glass. Zero deductible. Then I traded the truck in for my f-250.

if they won't replace a crack that is 85% across the windshield I'd say it's time to DUMP Allstate for sure!

when I got my windshield replaced...the insurance form filler on the phone asked me 8 times if the crack was bigger than a dollar bill...

with state farm just tell them it is pitted and a hazard to drive into the sun.

Update

The new windshield went in an hour ago. Sun State Auto Glass did the job, covered by insurance, and recommended by my agent. The glass even says "Built Ford Tough." Who'da thunk that?

Now we see how everything holds up.

my last new windshield was 2 1/2 days old when a belly dump pulled out in front of me leaking gravel and cracked it. of course this was on a truck without glass coverage.
