I just had to get my ac fixed 890.00
. From what i understand it all works of the same ac unit. you may have an air flow or an electronic problem. So if you got cold air upfront it must be a vacum or electronic issue.

Both the front and rear do run off the same compressor. If you believe it be an air flow problem, check the 'vented panel' just inside the rear doors (on the right). That's where the blower fan is.
Also - I know I have dual controls for mine, but not sure if it change on the 03's. Anyhow, the front controller has a setting that determine of the rear controller has, well, control. If the front is set to control the system, and someone is trying to change the temp or fans setting from the rear controller, then it will not work.
This is all just some guessing based on t he limited info provided.

there is a common COMPRESSOR, and to that extend, the refrigeration part of your question , as to the compressor, is fairly easy to diagnose.
But you have two separate EVAPORATERS, each with its own equiv. of an "expansion valve".
This is a job for a COMPETENT air conditioning shop that has the manuals, tools, and training to handle this VERY specialized equipment.
