One quick trick to getting rid of hard water spots on vehicles is to go to a carwash that uses soft water, wash the vehicle with soap then use a brush on it then most inportant make sure they have a final rinse that uses RO or DI water the purer the final rinse water the better. RO and DI water is aggresive water it will break down water spots on its own. been in the soft water business for over 35 years.
