D44 hubs?

I have these hubs sitting on my shelf and was wondering what they are for.
They were originally ordered for our 95 Bronco at work. The repair shop ordered hub and rotor assemblies. When they arrived, he said the hubs would not fit. The rotors were removed and used on the old hubs.
I have a set of auto hubs and they fit in the end with the splines, so I'm pretty sure it is for a D44.

Looks like 91-94 small chassis trucks like Ranger/Explorers....did some hub work on my old '94 Explorer.

It's not small still. Those would be Dana 35's.

Was your Bronco 4WABS? That might be the difference.

The Bronco was 4WABS. They removed the tone rings and I still have them. I was going to put these up for sale, but I really need to know their application first.
Do the D35s and D44s use the same size locking hub?

Do the tone rings have a tongue that would fit the notch in your hubs? And no Dana 35 and Dana 44 stuff do not interchange.

Not sure what you are asking. The tone ring is pressed on the most inner part of the hub. You can see a small step on the inner side of the hub in the picture. It is pressed on up to there.
My D44 auto hubs fit into these hubs, so 35s would be out of the question.

You've confirmed what I was saying. They should have fitr your rig if it's 4WABS. You might want to try them again.

I was just taking the shops word for it when they said they wouldn't fit. It's been a while since I've had my hubs pulled. Did all the axle joints, ball joints, cross drilled rotors, bearings and seals, and installed manual hubs. Front end is set!
So you think I can advertise these hubs as "95 D44 hubs for a Ford TTB"?
What would they be worth? $40
Or just scrap them?

You could advertise them at $40. Just be honest about the selling them. They 'should' fit this model....but the shop used my old ones. You maight try getting a casting number and talking to the parts guy at the dealership.

You probably contact the parts dept. at the local dealership.
