i have a 94 150 with the 4.9 4x4 an i usually have 35 mud terrians on there, but for this weekends mudruns i want to put the 38 super swampers i have. last time i did this, both the return line and the vacuumed line blew out, prob from being original ones. All i am going through is sloooshhhy muck, nothing with climbs or rocks, stumps. So do you think this time it will be ok when if i put the 38's back on there? saginaw is my next upgrade fo sho!
short for twin traction beam, its your front axle. Has IFS, which is notorious for breaking with bigger tires and bigger power. Hence why sas is such a popular thing to do on these trucks, sas being Solid Axle Swap. I just put 37" tires on my truck and i really try to keep my foot out of it while the hubs are locked, just cause i know that my ttb is gunna go boom soon.

just run them. however i will be surprised if you are able to turn those tires once you get in the middle of the pit. if the mud in your area is true mud your setup doesnt stand a chance on 38's b/c i'm sure your gearing is 3.55. also, i would not suggest turning too hard while on the throttle.
