C4 question
We are about ready to put a C4 that we just picked up and want to load up the torque converter.
1. How much fluid do you typically put in the converter. How far do you fill it up?
2. Is there a special way to seat the converter prior to putting the transmission.
Let me know we are going to try and get this baby in tonight!

I'll typically put a couple quarts in the TC, but if you fill it above the hub you'll loose all that fluid when you go to put it on and make a huge mess. When installing, you should hear three distinctive clunks- One for the transmission input shaft, one for the stator support, and then a third one for the pump. If you try to install without the t/c fully seated in the pump, you will damage both.
