Need Pin-Out's or Diagram for 42 Pin Engine Harness

Does anyone have the Pin Outs or a diagram of the wires for the 42 Pin harness that connects from the chassis to the engine...the big square one on the driver's side valve cover? I need to know what they are so I can start stripping out that engine harness, keeping the wires I'll need to use. If it matters, it's for the 2000 model year truck. Thanks guys and gals!

Don't have time to search right now, but did you bookmark the online manual from the library? It has some wiring diagrams in it.

Chris, that's the first I've seen of that. Need a username and password to log in?

the word library is your username and password. You ought to be able pull up info on a Ford and Dodge there. I figure that might come in handy.

JT I think I have all that you need. I'll send them in an email.

Jim, you're on the right track, but it's not the connector I'm looking for. It's not the PCM or IDM, but the square 42 pin connector on the driver's side valve cover. The one that contains all the wires for injectors, GP's, and engine sensors. I need some of those wires for the conversion, but by no means do I need the whole harness, so I'm going to strip out what I don't need.

I believe that Kevin has sent me what I am looking for.

Well let us know lest I dig into the manual. That is not always fun. Do you have what you need?

What Kevin sent me will work. It's going to take some deciphering. I've got the pin number and circuit number, which links to other diagrams that have the circuit numbers on them for each function. It's very detailed.

What would be perfect is a diagram like Jim has posted for the PCM, that has the pin number and function for each pin. It's connector C138. I don't know if anything like that is available or not though.
