I have a e-super duty 250 triton v-10 engine on a 1998 coachman motor home. It won't turn over tried to start and would like to know where the fuel pressure regulator is located to check if fuel is going in to the engine. It has been sitting for about a year and it has a new battery. I am new to this site and would appreciate any help.
AFAIK, there is no fuel pressure regulator. Fuel pressure is regulated by the fuel pump.
Before you go any further, please STOP trying to crank over the engine. It sounds like you have a stuck injector from bad gasoline (hydrolocking the engine) because the engine has sat for a year, or a valve is stuck open and hitting a piston. Continued cranking might do catastrophic damage.
Start with removing the spark plugs, see if you find a cylinder full of gasoline. If not, you probably have a stuck valve and a head rebuild is in your near term future. If you do find one full of gasoline you'll need to repair or replace that injector.
You'll also need to drain and refill the gas tank with fresh fuel.
Please, use a fuel stabilizer (like StaBil) when you store the motorhome.
It won't turn over or it won't fire? If it cranks but doesn't fire you have a fuel or spark issue. If it won't even crank you have a battery, starter, or ignition issue.
Does it crank, or try to crank, or just click, or do nothing?
