the edelbrock 2171? Stick with it, the weiand is a bit better flowing but the edelbrock will be enough so it aint worth throwing away for the weiand... you are going to be building a heck of a monster post pictures!!!!!
also remember if you re using 91 octane, liked the results i gave you and want to use a similar cam my advice would be to ask for the chi heads to have 64cc chambers, it says on the page that they can reduce your chambers for no aditional cost, they usually come with 68 -70cc, so TIMs 14cc 0deck pistons give you a decent CR ... it all depends on your cam choice, remember an engine is a unit and it all has to be working as a combo for one purpose...
I was just gonna get the heads bare and bring them to my machine and match everything from thier...the octane around here is 92-93. And your cam was custom ground? how much did that cost you?
I ordered it thru TIM and its ordered thru a selection of intake master lobes and exhaust master lobes. My custom grind had a 5444 intake lobe and a 5203 exhaust lobe
with a 110 lobe seperation on a Cleveland core. $179 I need to go right now, but in 2 hrs or so ill post the cam exact specification here...
well the AFD 2vs, as you can see on my experiment, made a broder torque curve thatn a chi 2v head cuz the exhaust side of the afd head flows a bit better but the chi 2v flows a bit better on the intake side making more power... I would go with the chi2v heads but just because I have deal before with Tim Meyer and I know he is a very serious salesman and Danlee has had amazing results with a chi head....
