I just had a brand new one installed by my Dealer with a 3 year 75000 mile guarantee for $3200 (4R100) and you want to get it rebuilt for $1000 more and get a 12000 mile one year??????? Don't make much sense! I also put an oversized tranny cooler. My truck pulls trailers every day of the week. My last tranny had 156,000 before going bad.

I agree with you 100%. If I was to stay stock, and not put a chip, VB and other performance mods on my truck, thats what I would do. Ask Ford what happens to the warranty if you put a chip in the truck.
Ok guys, I think I've figured it out. I talked to Monte with Advanced Transmissions in Mauldin, SC. He's going to put a Precision torque converter in the truck along with Borg-Warner internals....labor and everything included for $1950+tax. I think I'm getting a really good deal...I know he builds tranny's for sled pullers and lots of high horsepower/torque trucks. I don't expect to get more than 400hp out of my truck, so hopefully it'll hold up. I'm dropping it off tomorrow and picking it up either monday or tuesday.
What's everyone think about that....anything I should ask him to upgrade while he's in there? I've got a couple hundred more dollars I could play with if needed.

You sure about the price? A PI TC is over $1000. Doesn't leave much for R&R of the trans and rebuilding, not to mention parts.
I agree on getting the BTS VB, and then to go with that, the dp tuner improved tunes, for the new trans setup. If you ask Jody, he will change your tunes, for the new T/C and VB. If you dont, the new T/C will lockup very very hard. I ran mine like that for a month, untill I got the dptuner. And I see you already have it, so you should just get it updated.
