And since D3VE heads were used clear into the 80s many many of them DID have hardened exhaust seats. But the point is still the same, do a valve job and you take out the induction hardened seat and need to replace it.
OK, thanks for the valve seat info, now the second part of my question; Is the combustion chamber the same as the 73 heads? I want to run flat top pistons and have around 9/1 compression ratio.

And I did do a search, couldn't find the info.
