I'll take the cheapest method of shipping. Did you try USPS? What do they say it would cost? Ship it to my work address Matt Daniels care of RSC 11507 US 19 North Port Richey Florida 34668.

Let me know the exact amount and I will send it to you thru paypal.

P.S. Do you have the bolts that bolt the engine block mounts to the motor mounts?

Yes, I got the info. I will get the money to you tomorrow when I get paid. Thanks again. Oh yeah. Do you have the long bolts that attach the engine brackets to the motor mounts?

As I see it, you have two choices.

1) Go to your local dealer...the illustration in the above Ford parts catalog (Section 60.1 / Page 6) of what all the F100/350 460 front/rear mounts look like, is very clear.

2) Buy your own copy of this exact same CD catalog, it's available from hipoparts.com / also sold on ebay / the price is around $25.00.

Since the catalog has illustrations of every single part, not only do you get all the part numbers, but the catalog can be used as an assembly/dis-assembly manual.

The Big Dummy would like to help you.....but I'm using the above parts catalog on Ford microfiche slides.

EDIT: I believe Summit sells the 460 mounts & brackets.
Here's what I have from the parts CD...

Good luck

They may look similar, but Econoline 460 motor mount brackets and rubber mounts will not work on a F100/350...from any year.

You need: D3TZ-6030-A & D3TZ-6031-A / Fits: 1973/79 F100/350 only / Econoline: D5UZ-6030-A & D5UZ-6031-A

Thanks clarifing the use of the prefix or application.

I think it was something like this.
A=1940's
B=1950's
C=1960's
D=1970's
E=1980's
the number was the years first produced
then weather it was a factory part or replacement.
The base part number.
the suffix indicated what vehicle it fit
if this isn't correct please shed some light on how ths works.

You are correct on the decades, and all Ford part numbers use a basic part number which is the same as the group number in illustrations, and have prefixes and suffixes.

After that you're on your own, because part numbers with car prefixes fit trucks, part numbers with truck prefixes fit cars, so unless you are "in the know" and have parts catalogs...your SOL when looking at the part number...it can fit anything.

Since Ford updates 1000's of part numbers a year, it's not always possible to tell what year the part was first used by the prefix.

Figure this puppy out: B-1012 replaced by B-1012-A replaced by C0AZ-1012-A replaced by C9AZ-1012-A replaced by E6DZ-1012-A.

So your 1986 Taurus lug nut fits a: 1932, 1960, 1969 Ford and dozens of years in between!

There's no difference between a factory part and a service (replacement) part number.

I sent the money to you along with a message with the address to ship the 2 brackets and the 2 long bolts (that is if you have any spare that you could throw in). Thanks again. You have been a great help. I almost have everything I need. You know its funny that I did this swap before with my brother who had a 1973 F100 that we swapped a 429 in. The 429 came out of a 1975 XLT F-150 that we bought for parts. Everything was there and we did the swap in a day. Now I am doing the same thing again accept that I am parts hunting. In a way it seems fun and makes the end result more satisfying once it is all together. Of course its not my main source to get around so I'm not having to rush.
Once I get the plates I will be down to timing cover with dipstick, front sump oil pump with pickup tube, long tube headers, and I am still debating on weather or not to plug off the hole in the intake that went to the egr or get another without the hole there. I'll be using a 600cfm carb for now until I can get a 650 or 700 cfm carb.

That's why we have guys like that worked with these number for years on end.

you probably have a few parts books on the shelf.

I was going to pick up one of those parts book on CD, are they a good source?? -RW
