Sway bars reduce body roll, and most body roll happens during cornering. However if it's windy you have a large enough profile to be knocked around and a bigger sway bar or poly bushings could help.

What shocks do you currently have and how many miles are on them?

Have a look at the track bar.

Here is a quick test.

Start the engine.

Apply the brakes.

Turn the steering wheel from 3 to 9 oclock and watch for movement on the front of the vehicle.

A bad track bar will show up as movement.

Addco and Hellwig are the only two companies I can think of that should have a set of bars for you.

I have had the same problem. I have replaced, all ball joints, drag link, tie rods they whole 9 yards. New shocks and tires, Allignment, and sway bar. But when I checked the camber I found that both sides had a problem. So a friend at work told me to check my clearance from my bump stop on my front springs. I have a 1/2" on one side and 5/8" on the other. Also where the bump stop hits the springs it polished clean from constant bottoming out. And from what I have read BAD CAMBER = BAD WANDERING. I have the 7.3 DIESEL ENGINE. and the talk is that ford put to soft of springs under the EXCURSION diesel, for the softer ride. So some of our fellow FTE buddies have convinced me to put F250 diesel springs on it. Stewart_H has done a nice step by step post on how to change the front springs out, with some great pictures.

thanks so much i will check this out this weekend, the shocks seem fine and i checked the 3-9 wheel turn and thats good too and as for the sway bars i think that will help on the highway but my real problem sounds like the camber because at low speed high speed straight road i seem to dart or wander all of a sudden in a differnt direction. im like araid to take my eyes off the roads because i wont be where i should. so i will check the spring height next, then a garage for the camber check.
thank you so much for the help. bob
