When to replace shocks

When to replace shocks
The Rancho shocks on my Expedition have about 75k on them and I'm wondering how I know when they need to be replaced. I know the short answer is your ride bouncy however when you drive the same vehicly every day you don't really notice the gradual change

Usually a time tested method:
"The way to test the front and rear shocks is by bouncing each corner of the car. Rock the car at each corner and release. If the car bounces more than 1 1/2 times after you have stopped, take a closer look at the shocks."

I usually follow the highway bounce test. Go on a highway and see if your car bounces erratically over wavy sections of pavement. If the bouncing feels like your on a boat, it is likely time to replace the shocks/struts.
