electric fuel pump

I want to replace my mechanical fuel pump with an electric fuel pump.
Has anyone here done it?

Ya there are a couple of people that have done it here, that i know of. And from what i here they are well worth the money. From beans your talkin about a grand so its a hefty investment, but an electric pump system gets really good reviews from the people that have them.

I think dieselsite also has one for just a touch over a grand, the best thing about these setups is that they are complete kits, so there is no guess work

dieselsites setup is nice, ya can build it yourself for less but its a pain in the butt collecting all the fittings

ive got one on my truck, dahl 150 prefilter with 2micron filter, sumped tank with -10 feedin the filter and pump, 50mic post filter, fuel lab pump, aeromotive regulator, -8 feedin the motor and -6 return. -6 feedin the heads through a y block, -6 return lines goin to the regulator. fuel cooler on the return mounted right by the powersteering cooler. lots and lots of pieces and parts!! its the fittings that add really really fast!
