Cat Delete Question

Got the down pipe off and am going to align the new one to the original cat first. I noticed on the front of the of the cat "pipe" I have a exhaust hanger supporting it. One of those U shape hangers. Ya all just cut it off or utilize it?

Hussler, when my kitty ran away I think I still used that hanger just for a little more support against future rattles.

Hmmmmmm, now ya got me wondering and I need to crawl under my truck and take a look see. Only problem is I'm hundreds of miles away from the truck and won't see it again until end of August.

I just cut the hanger off and welded it to the new pipe.

Thanks guys, guess I'll dig out my small welder and just tack it on the CD pipe.

I installed mine about 6 months ago and was thinking of cutting the hanger of the cat and welding to the delete pipe but never got around to it. So far no problems.
