My mirror arms came from a truck stop just like his (same brand and all). My mirror heads came from the local Oreilly auto parts. Mine are stainless steel (not sure what Bob used), but are the same size as his. I do not have a tractor supply place locally.
I love them. With the little round ones...I could not see much at all out the passenger side and the drivers side was blocked by my spare tire. Seeing is great!

Here is what I will be using on my 52 F-3, they are a set of original FoMoCo that I believe are 60's vintage.. found them on ebay. Other than a little "sunburned" paint, these should clean up to like new, just haven't had a chance to try and mount them yet.
