Clutch problems!

I have a 94 f250 4x4, 7.5L 5-speed. Yesterday while driving home pulling my work trailer, I felt something pop in the clutch pedal during a shift. I then noticed that the throwout bearing was chirping a bit while in nuetral. The clutch pedal became very firm, and now it is dificult to get trans. in gear.
The resevior is full and there are no leaks. I belive the problem is the slave cylinder but I am not sure. Any ideas?

Hard to say but sounds like there is something broken on the throwout bearing carrier or the throwout lever.

well how easy is it to get to the slave cylinder if its easy enough i would pull it and make sure its working right before going any further.

Slave is internal, concentric design....

I think there is a door that you can take off the side for inspection. Not positive, but check it out.
