LAST EDITED ON 09-Apr-01 AT 05:04 PM (EST)[p]What are some good add ons to give me more mid-range power with my 4.6V8 on a '98 2wd x-cab F150? I already have a k&n filter, superchip, PowerAid TB spacer, and a cgs cat-back exhaust. Anyone Know?

I have the K&N filter and a Cat back exhaust with no muffler. Did your chip help alot?

I believe the power problem is in the transmission. I doesn't seem to shift to the right gear at the right time. You might want to look into some tranny mods!

OK.. you want more power... Chips aren't really for power, they are for improved shift point. K%N filter and filter charger is good, but minamally effective. I suggest a gear change.
