High Miles?
I'm looking at a 97, 4.6 auto, 4x4, with a little over 100,000 miles. I was just wondering what the general life expectancy of the engine and trans was? How are you other high miler's doing?

I wouldn't be afraid of it. Give it a good look over like any engine at 100 thousand and then drive it like you stole it. There is no good reason why you can't get another 100 thou out of it with good maintenance.
