Ac ?
Hi everyone I have a 1996 explorer with a 4.0 my ? is im replacing everything in the ac system. I subscribe to alldata but it is a little confusing What im looking foris how much oil to put into empty system. Also do i put the oil into each item inluding the lines any and all help would be appreciated

There should be a sticker in front of the radiator with the specs on it. I did my 95 4.0 last year. It took 7 oz of oil and 1 lb 14oz of freon. You need to put the oil into the compressor and the dryer bottle. I think you have to put it in the compressor before you install it because I think it fills from the bottom. Needless to say, you need the correct tools (evacuator, hi/low pressure guagues and lines) to do this.
