another block casting number decode

another block casting number decode
Okay ,can anyone decode a block casting of D3TE,and what I believe to be the date code of c11,located under the oil filter

D = 1970s

3 = 3rd year, thus 1973

T = Truck

E = Engine

C11, I'm guessing here and going on my possibly faulty memory, C would be the 3rd month, 11 = 11th day, that might could be March 11.

That help?

I got one for you its a C6ME-A I know its a 66' but the rest of it???? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

C = 60s

6 = 6th year of the previous noted decade, hence 1966

M = Mercury

E = Engine

The "A" is what revision number the part is, "A" would be the original part without changes.
