Interesting question...
I have the 7000lb coils on our 06 F-450 and they are definitely firmer than the 6000lb coils on my 07 F-350. But the rear of that truck is so stiff it's hard to really accurately compare them. Doesn't have near the "bounce" that my 07 F-350 does after hitting good bumps at speed.
You would definitely have a firm, controlled ride with 7000lb coils and Bilsteins.....now, if it would be too firm or not would vary from person to person.
The 7000lb coils should do a real nice job handling a plow though..
As for height...the front ends of the two trucks is almost the same height (450 is slightly lower...but it's a heavy pig empty). I run 325/60R18s on 18x8.5 Welds and clear them fine under my stock suspension. Gives the truck a nice stance too, IMO
