Does anybody know what the torque specs for the bolts that bolt the oil pan to the block are? personally, I'd just do it until they where "tight enough", but I'm not sure if thats a good idea. Thank you.
I was taught in shop class many years ago that if you don't know the torque specs for the oil pan or valve cover or other sheet metal to block cover use this method. Apply sealer to both surfaces place the gasket and then tighten the bolts so the gasket just starts to bulge. Let the sealer setup and then give all the bolts a quarter turn. It has worked for me over the years so well that I never even look up the torque's for stuff like that.

Reason: misspelling
I know it's off topic, but does anybody know of any aftermarket aircleaners that would fit on the one barrel holley I got, The old fashion air filters that use oil have got to be horribly unefficient.
If you have an old oil bath air filter that will fit the single barrel holley that is complete that you are not going to use think of me... :-) I am looking for one for my 59 F100 4X4
