Do cab lights come apart?

I scored a set of factory cab lights along with the harness for my truck from the J-yard last week. The gaskets are even in really good shape. I would like to get inside them to clean them up and possibly paint the inside base silver to make them a little brighter. The lense doesn't appear to separate from the base though. Am I not trying hard enough or do they really not come apart?

They are vibration fused together from the factory and do not come apart.

I was going to try the same thing a couple months ago, but there is no way to get them apart without making them FUBAR.

Sonically sealed lenses and housings. Bulbs were rated around 15,000 hours. Anything that can be opened to change bulbs will generally have minimum 1 screw.

You can change the bulb from the bottom ............ so what you are saying does not pertain in this case.

In other words: You are wrong.
