hey guys, ive been looking for a while to find the right product to lift my truck.. i have a budget of 2500 dollars.. i found this lift (4 inches) i have 33"s on my stock 1997 f250 highbody.. the kit rocomends 35"s, can i put 36"s, because i can get a super great deal on some 36"s that would fit my budget.. i wont be offroading this truck.. will it rub when steering 100%..
Well I know yours is a 250 and my truck is a 350, but when I had a 4'' lift I ran 36s and it looked real good and fit real good. My tires were 36x12.5 and they did rub a little when the wheel was cut all the way. I guess its gonna depend on how wide a tire your gonna run and I'm sure the rim offset will play a factor as well.

i cant see 35's on a 4 ich with out rubbing and cant imagine 36's. idealy on a 250 you need a 6 inch to run 35's or 36's but its possible with some modding of bumpers

I agree with that.
F250Growler are you sure your checkin for a 250 not a 350? Those lift sizes with the tire recommendations sound like the 350's recomendations.
Not trying to burst your bubble and start a problem. I know that site says that 36'' is good but I had a 4'' lift on my 350 with 36's and that yes I could have went a little bigger but not without it looking stuffed or unproportionate.
Talk to c00n, he's got a 250 lifted 6'', he'll stear your more in the right direction. Could also try posting in the offroad forum, them guys know there stuff good.
