Did you see "The Dark Knight" ?
I did although the show i intended on seeing was sold out and so i had to wait for a later show and that was packed. What was really crazy was this was all last night, I couldn't believe it there was that many people going to see movies on Sunday night. Anyway I thought the movie was awesome! It sucks that Heath Ledger died because they left the movie opened at the end for the Joker to return but it will be hard to replace him in that movie. What did you guys think?

Hard to replace Heath Ledger? I was thinking it would be hard to replace Jack Nicholson as the Joker... (no, I haven't seen The Dark Knight yet--I don't go to the movie theaters when it's $35+ for my family to get in and I have a multi-thousand-dollar home theater system).

Saw it.
Loved it.
Don't have a single gripe about it.
Ledger's performance as the Joker is world class. He stole the movie.
Such a tragedy that he died.
Can't wait to rent it and watch it again.
We saw it at 10 am on Sunday. Although the theater wasn't packed, it was filled about 3/4 of the way.

I thought they were spinning the death of Heath Ledger to promote the movie (like the politicians). He really nailed the part. Michael Caine was outstanding too. You have got to go see it but it is not for small children.

Heath really did steal the spotlight in this movie. I'm usually really skeptical when I hear that a new release is 'The Best Movie of the Year' or an 'Instant Classic' but to me this movie really lived up to the hype. I liked Jack Nicholson as the Joker but he was still cartoonish. Heath portrayed exactly the way I always imagined the Joker.

Not yet, planned on going at 9:30am Sunday for the $4 early special but was too busy. Hopefully I'll catch it this weekend in one of the early showings. I like the price and the reduced chance there are a bunch of A holes in the theater.

Actually, Heath was one of my girlyfriends favorites...we went to see it Saturday night...packed house...GREAT movie!

saw 7pm monday night movie also sold out,i thought the only thing that sucked was the fact that there will be another movie,but obviously no h. ledger.
