Ahhhh well thanks for clearing that. I didn't know. Last time I bought them here I got 2 that were in stock. And the B number was on the receipt. Knowing I had the part number on that from 03 I didn't check my MPC which would have had the A number I'd think. Also it's a 75 final edtion. Is the OSI on CD like the MPC's?? Or am I SOL???
LOL thanks Bill!!!
Never seen a for sale to the public CD of the OSI catalogs.
Mine are on microfiche, also have an old old OSI book.
Squinting at that microfiche reader at the tiny print those slides have, is lots of fun.
I know how to get the microfiche onto CD the downside is there would be no database to have search fields render answer from unless you manually entered it. Talk about fun..LOL.. I can however create a template for it with FilemakerPro® Developers Edition then you can knock yourself out
Come to think of it, it might be simpler than expected. What's the file extension on the data base file for the CD you have ? if it's .dat or .xls they can both be imported, then you just need to add an extra field for (OSI) or two or three so you have the rollovers from previous reprints etc.. these would have to be manually entered but you could do it at a leisurely pace (as you take the time to find it on microfiche) operating in Administrative mode update the UpGraded database Form.
