Tried to research that, too. I believe Mike is correct about the post #s.

Ok then. For arguments sake, and to help Framboypowerstroke get his post count up, lot's of people here clean the EBPV tube for an increase in mileage, but running without it won't have a drastic (negative) affect on mileage?

What kind of mileage are you getting now Farmboy? Has it gotten worse at some point? If so, what did you used to get mileage wise? What made you decide to clean it in the first place?

I don't know the answer to the above question, but would agree with running the engine without it not blowing up your motor.

By the way, Welcome to FTE.

Well thats some pretty good mileage if you ask me but cleaning out the sensor tube wouldn't hurt. How many miles on your truck?

Cleaned mine out about 5,000 ago, got 99,280 now. It was gunked up a bit more so where the sensor was and at the bends of the tube. Sensor and tube were good, put back in..

Dude, unless you want some Go Fast stuff, I wouldn't touch a thing, that mileage is great!
