Maybe that is why I can't see my post...I may have violated a rule I didn't know about (but surely should have I guess). I don't think I wrote anything that could be construed as hateful or bad or ?????...BTW, I am on Israel's side too...I have many friends in the IDF (that is where I got my info that I posted from).

Nothing wrong with discussing Iran and Israel as long as the religious parts are left out.
Wars and rumors of wars is all that is mentioned here.

Answers?

Folks,
With concern of the current oil prices I would like to refer you to an excellent, but long(75min.), video about "The Energy Non-Crisis" as told
by a Pastor who worked the Alaska pipeline. You won't believe your ears:
LINK. Worth the time!

On the topic of the mideast turmoil (Iran/Israel/Palestine...etc)I suggest going to this website for more indepth looks into what's really going on there:
LINK . I was shocked to find out how different things really are and what the real cause of all the conflict is about. Many of the authors in the Rense
articles are known experts in their fields.

Just my 2 cents worth.

There are no tracks in this thread to suggest that it has been touched at all. My best guess is that it was a glitch in the system.

Alright, then here is the original post...

If you don't like the current prices for diesel, you better start
stocking up...it is likely to get a lot more expensive soon. Israel
is sending a few of their generals here this week for discussions
with our military. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert just finished visiting
with the President. Have you any idea what they have been discussing?
Go on, take a guess...

Iran...and Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons and their stated
position that Israel should be "wiped-off from the face of the earth"
was the topic. Israel (at least the holocaust survivors in Israel)
has seen this before - in 1938! The intelligence estimates are that
Israel will either 1) attack Iran's nuclear capability without our
blessing and/or assistance OR 2) Israel will attack with our blessing
and/or assistance. There are a number of IDF (Israeli Defense Forces)
officers and retirees that have asserted that Israel will (if
necessary) attack with nuclear weapons because of the hardened
positions that the Iranians have placed their nuclear research
facilities in.

Israel has recently taken delivery from the US of some 5,000 smart
air launched weapons including some 500 BLU 109 bunker-buster bombs
(the BLU -109 is a 2,000lbs warhead that can be used in combination
with a GPS guidance kit, and can penetrate up to 15 feet of fortified
concrete). Israel's main reason for purchasing these weapons are
Iran's nuclear facilities, some of which include large underground
complexes. The uranium coated munitions are said to be more than
adequate to address the full range of Iranian targets, with the
possible exception of the buried facility at Natanz, which may
require the BLU-113 bunker buster (capable of penetrating 100 feet
of earth or 20 feet of concrete). Given Israel's already substantial
holdings of such weapons, this increase in its inventory would allow
a sustained assault with or without further US involvement.

Estimates have been made that crude oil will go to $300 a barrel in
the futures market nearly immediately following an attack...this
places diesel at the $12 per gallon level. Industries dependent on
oil (trucking, airlines, auto) will collapse.

What is going on is that there is a miniture cold ware between the West and Iran. gues who will win.
Israel will not do anything without the blessing of the USA and/or Europe. If something goes down it will be a pinpoint operation that will only draw the attention from the ultra left that will make a big deal out of it in order to blame Isreal.
$300 a barrel ain't gonne happen, because Iran will never push it that far, think about it, they don't even have there own refeinere's and we stop letting them export or import anything.
Oil will go down to around $100, still to much but it will keep us going for alternative energie sorces, whatever it takes to make that happen. sleep well.
