Dimming Dash
When at idle, especially with the brakes on the dash lights dim, as does my tach (the tach gets power through a wire i stuck inside the fuse box in an accessory fuse terminal, probably not the wisest way to wire that but the only way i knew how to get it to light up and dim with the dimmer switch). As soon as i hit the gas they brigthen again. What could be causing this and how do i fix it, when i replaced the alternator they were out of the higher output one i had before so i went for the smaller one, could this or my battery be the problem or what is the deal. Someone said to check my grounds but how do i go about this?

What is your Idle speed?
600,550 or less In drive ?
This is normal with too low an idle.

is it normal for them to go brighter, darker, brighter, darker..... at idle? cus it wouldn't bother me so much if they just dimmed but they friggen change lol it drives me nuts
