With 182,000 on stock injectors....I'd say either one of them is leaking down internally, or has an external o-ring seeping.

White smoke is un burnt fuel... White smoke w/ a tid bit of blue is un-burnt fuel with some oil in... Sounds like an injector issue to me. You want to do a buzz test on all the injectors and make sure they are all working up to pace... If it passes that then you should look at an o-ring issue... Could be your IDM (injector driver module) also but i would think that if it was that you would notice it...

FYI on the smoke:
Smoke analysis

White smoke:
Caused by unburned fuel passing through the engine. Some white smoke is normal on cold start-ups.
Excessive white smoke could be an indication of inoperative glow plugs, loose injectors, low compression from worn rings or bent connecting rods, or coolant leak into the cylinders--head gasket or injector well sleeves.

Black smoke:
Caused by excessive fuel for the amount of air drawn into the cylinders. Some black smoke on hard accel or at higher altitudes is normal.
Excessive black smoke could result from restricted intake or exhaust, inoperative leaking or weak turbo, intake hose(s) leaks, leaking or worn injectors, fuel return or supply restriction, stuck Exhaust backPressure Regulator valve or solenoid. Also PCM inputs such as BARO MAP ICP or EBP sensors.

Blue or blue/white smoke:
Caused by insufficient fuel or oil consumption. Normal when engine is cold or idling for extended periods.
Excessive smoke could be caused by air in the fuel, contaminated fuel, loose or plugged injectors, worn or leaking injector o-rings, thermostat stuck open, oil consumption, or plugged crankcase depression regulator valve. Also PCM inputs such as MAP or ICP sensors.

I don't know how the mileage plays into things since I still running my stock injectors, but it does sound like the above mentioned injector issues.

Might be time for another filter change. Diesel Kleen will clean the fuel tank out and send it strait to the filter.

Did you switch fuel stations, or stop using Diesel Kleen? How old is your engine oil? Do you ever get out and drive it longer than the 15 mile trip?

Make sure the oil is full and fresh, the new filter is clean like Barry suggested, and keep using the DK. Can you get a cylinder contribution test done? You may have a worn injector not spraying the fuel properly.
