received a new flashed PCM from DP Tuner this morning, any quick instructions out there for replacing this thing? I have seen something somewhere, can't remember.
Loosen a bolt on the firewall inside the engine bay then a few nuts underneath from the front and it should just slide on out correct?
Pretty basic. I believe you've got it down. Many have done this without disconnecting the battery cables first. But, I leave that up to you. Better safe than sorry.
heh, left the keys in the house, finished this about 30 min ago, just got back from a test drive....
HOLY CRAP
mileage just kept wanting to go up (got the 80E) and power was incredible when I wanted to put my foot down, shifts better, drives better in every way....
totally different truck in every way, this is so awesome! I can't imagine what 140 would do, that would just be nutty

unfortunately I have an 88 mile round trip commute that I have to do 1-3 times per week, I keep it at 65, been getting about 16-18 mpg (depends on how much in town crap goes on during that time) I am hoping for some really good things here!
