I bought a nice looking 1994 f250 with 33,000 miles on it but while the paint and body are nearly perfect the frame had quite a bit of rust on it. I wire brushed and power washed off as much of as I could the sprayed with three cans of duplicolor rust fix which kills rust then turns to a black primer or coating but does not prevent futher rusting. I think I should have used four or five cans but I am going to do a re coating this weekend. I also want to use a primer or chassis paint and need some good recommendations on any of the following:
Duplicor black Chassis Paint
Chassis Saver Black Paint
Eastwood Black Chassis Paint
Noxudol 300 Rust Proofing Product of Sweden
This might not be a permenant solution but I'll add it any how. I use Fluid Film on my snow plow and spreaders and such. Its a rust and corrosion preventitive. It works a heck of a lot better then WD 40.
