Need some chips

Can anybody recommend a chip for a 02 Econoline that will increase fuel milage and power in the $350 range?I can't seem to find any vendors who sell for the van chasis.

If you have the 7.3 in that van check out DP Tuner $350-450 Range

You will need to invest further into gauges $300+

Maybe some 4"-5" exhaust to help with EGTs $300.

and a 6637 intake to make it breath better $30-40

Not sure that 6637 is going to fit under the midge-hood of the E series trucks.

If you want something mild, that you won't have to do any exhaust or gauges work, you can get the PCM (computer) reflashed from him for $75ish. Get a 40 tow tune.

I was kind wondering if it would. Is there an aftermarket intake that would fit?

DP is the best. The other mods are recommended for any tuner or chip. DP is NOT the Diablo Predator, repeat, NOT.

As far as chips go, plain Lay's........welcome to FTE bro......

IIRC Jody can do a PCM swap. They would never know...Check the website or email him. I believe there was just an additional core charge when you use this option.

Anyone have an idea on this one? What is the stock intake on a van?

The DP may be too expensive for you, as you said you where looking in a lower price range. Its a little too expensive for me as well - thats why i go un-tuned. BUT if your looking for something to suffice check out your local craigslist. ALOT of tuners on there under autoparts (search 7.3 diesel at the top left). Usually around $100 to $300. Good luck!
