I have order Gauges 2 x pyro [1 for each bank] 1 x boost 1 x tranny temp, also 1 column pod mount 1 3 x pillar also ccv mod and sshpx got them through ITP. In a couple of months I will get a 4" exhaust I'm thinking MBPR aluminiumised maybe ss.
No internal engine mods as it was replaced by the insurance company so you get what you get. I was just happy that I didn't have to pay the bill was around $ 17000. The original injector problem was a bad coil on the top of the injector when they replaced the injector they hydro locked the engine which is what caused the rod out the block well actually it was 2 rods one each side I would say it broke the crank. The new engine ran for 5 minutes and did the same thing but on # 3 injector the coil died they replaced the top with the one from the new injector on the old motor and it has been fine since.
The way our motor is designed with the injectors firing off of high pressure engine oil, the oil rail in the motor will drain down into the piston when you remove an injector. You have to remove this oil before you fire the engine back up. I guess they learned that the hard way.
Glad to hear every things back up and running and you didn't foot the bill.
I will now be right to compete in the upcoming Drag race season on my NOS Suzuki I am currently the Australian record holder for my class with a 7.74 sec @ 176MPH Thanks again

Man that is great news Geoff about the dealership stepping up on that engine...but 176mph on a Suzuki ....yikes!!!
ON EDIT: This thread is a great example of the original poster following through with follow-up posts to the outcome. It just bugs the heck out of me when someone posts a problem and then never returns to give us the outcome...Geoff you get my reps and I know many others here are impressed with your diligence to the topic...thank you!
I know the 05 has but not sure about the 06 I think 06 is when they stopped bringing them in, not sure if it was at the begining of the year or the end. I personally have never seen a 6L one in Australia I beleive that only 9000 were sold Australia wide. I think that includes 5.4's and the one's with a six cylinder cummins engine. When I get my Truck back in a few weeks I will get my hand brake to take a photo of it and me and I will post it up steering wheel on the right side of the car and alli

this why i had a reminder in my sig... but someone thought it would be fun to pick on me about it.. so i took it out..
Hey Everyone thanks for your thoughts and help. Just got back from the dealership everything looked good {exepet the hole in the block and snaped rod} looks like the engine has hydrolicked when they replaced the injector. This would be why it smoked an was low on compresion and eventually led to the rod out the block. So it is with much joy that I tell you all that the dealership has said the will fix it free of charge. They are fitting a brand new long crate motor and I am going to kick in an extra 2500 to make it a complete crate motor new turbo and everything. Thanks again for everyone that has helped me with advice on this and other threads. Good news and WOW on the Suzuki. Congrats on the record. How long have you held that record?

We took the record at the Summer National in Sydney in Febuary we ran faster at the winternationals 7.49 @ 176 but could not back it up to reset the record due to a shifting gremlin, that is fixed now and we will test on the 30th of this month. I hope to go 7.20 @ 180 + when we get it to 60ft right. I have just bought a new 2 valve engine which makes 50 more Hp aspirated than the 4 valve one we are running now so fingers crossed it will take us into the 6's
I agree with buying a new truck for $22000, instead of spending even 10K on it, I would look another truck for say 15k. Thats what I paid for mine.
And BTW can you get any parts down under?
$22000 was for an engine only I got the price down to $12695 for a complete long engine everything less turbo manifolds and up pipes. Over here the cheap ones run at $60000 and then go up from there low milage ones go for around the $ 85000 mark
