Ford/CodeAlarm connector

Back in late 04 I was adding the the CodeAlarm CA330 to my 04 Explorer that already had factory keyless entry. All went well with that.

I remember reading back then, and I believe it was on this website, that some were finding the connector ready to go already wired from the factory, in some 05 Fords. All that one had to do is plug in a Ford/CodeAlarm module.

So I just purchased a 05 F250 XLT with factory keyless entry. Can I be so lucky as to be able to find a connector for the Ford/CodeAlarm module under the dash ready to go? If it is true it seems to be a well kept secret now, I cannot find any information on the internet anywhere.

I can't find that orginal post, and I can't find any post on this site that would elude to the connector already being there. I would hate to splice in a new connector only to find there is already one there.

And I would like to ask for clarification, is there such a thing as a factory alarm system? I see people referencing that they have a factory alarm. Do they mean a dealer installed Ford alarm? Or are they confusing a factory keyless entry system with an alarm? Do any FoMoCo vehicles actually roll off the assembly line with a full alarm system?

Thanks

Have you asked in the later model forum? I am not too much up on the late model alarm stuff.
