heat in cab

Hey guys, Ive noticed that I get a lot of heat from the engine compartment in the cab. is there any thing that I can do about it?

the least expensive thing to do is to make sure that any holes are plugged in firewall and floor.
if you want to really do it right, get some heat reducing products that street rod guys use and put it under the carpet or vinyl in your cab.
it will be cooler and quieter.

yes, the heat shield (foil faced type) works well..esp look at the clutch pedal grommet and the firewall/floor area above the mat or carpet (above your toe level), this area is not carpeted or insulated.

i believe the foil type insulation is better if used in the engine compartment.
