Outside Temp that triggers auto heat in Cab

Outside Temp that triggers auto heat in Cab
The owner's manual says that when a remote start is done, the climate control will turn on the heat, heated seats and heated steering wheel.
My truck did this once, but I cannot remember the ambient temp now.
I've just noticed that the last few times (with ambient temps at ~50 F) the seat coolers are on max, no heat through vents (I know the engine has to warm up first) and the steering wheel heat wasn't on.
Does anyone know if there is a "hard" temp that triggers the auto heat function?

My '15 turned the heat on in increments, but the seats came on below ~35F. The '17 seems to be similar. The seats and wheel are separate now, and appear to be tied to the climate, and the light sensor in the dash. If it's really sunny, your cooled seats may be on, even if it's in the 50's out...I'm learning how they work, one start at a time.

Well it was 38 degrees yesterday and mine turned all the heat on via remote start, wheel, seats, and heat. I have the supplemental heater btw.
Here's something weird...when I got in the truck there was a heated steering wheel symbol lit up in the instrument cluster. When I pressed start it turned off and the heated steering wheel turned off. So I manually turned the heated steering wheel back on via the climate display but that heated steering wheel symbol in the instrument cluster did not turn back on.

Here's what the owner's manual says:
So it does not specify an exact temperature, but I, too have experienced the cooled seats turned on to max during a remote start with the outside temps being in the 40's. I suspect the solar load sensor was triggering the cooled seats or the sun heated the cabin temp warmer than the outside temp and triggered it that way.
- Automatic Settings
In hot weather, the system is set to 72°F (22°C). The cooled seats are set to high (if available, and selected to AUTO in the information display).
In moderate weather, the system either heats or cools (based on previous settings). The rear defroster, heated mirrors and heated or cooled seats do not automatically turn on.
In cold weather, the system is set to 72°F (22°C). The heated seats are set to high (if available, and selected to AUTO in the information display). The heated rear window and heated mirrors automatically turn on.

Your post makes me laugh. At 70F I have the A/C on and cannot imagine having the heated seat on, lol.

I think this would be an excellent use of Forscan if it works. I can see driving around with the windows down and the cooled seats on in the summer.
