Need input on door panels
Ok, I bought the XLT door panels from Dennis Carpenter and they came with the chrome ribs at the bottom and they are all nifty black plastic like they should be. As most of you know, you can't buy a replacement door panel with the vinyl burlwood trim on the center section.
Now, I've managed to remove the vinyl burlwood trim from my old panels without damaging the plastic posts that go through the panel and are held in position with the little circular clips that shove over the ends. I came up with a method by using my dremel with a mini routing tip to grind on the clip, not to cut through, but to heat it up enough to be able to pry off once the plastic softens. It worked like a champ.
The question is: Where does one find replacement clips to push over the pegs? Do they exist? I'm sure this is a question for Numberdummy or Mi1lion, but anyone that can field it is invited. If they're not available, is my option to cut the pegs off, and just glue the piece to the panel with a good adhesive like epoxy?

Forgot all about the paintshop little box of secret doo-dads. The paintshop here in town has a little suitcase full of weird odds and ends like that. Perhaps I'll luck out.
