2002 expy 2wd xlt

2002 expy 2wd xlt
my new 02 expy 2wd xlt a/c compressor is not coming on when commanded. checked associated fuses- none blown. watched for a/c compressor clutch to engage, and it's not. making appt. for dealer to look at, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. thanks. (5.4l engine)
