Before my tick/tap problem I got some new things done inside the truck. My gauges that came in the truck have always annoyed me, too dim, and just didnt have the look I wanted. And since my instrument cluster had an open spot, I added the termy/aeroforce scan gauge there.
Look at how much ICP I got lol.
Also went ahead and got rid of my old alpine cd player. 3 years ago the thing was sweet, but the stupid ipod control always pissed me off. So I upgraded a bit.
Anyways, at least the inside is going well, can't say so much about the powertrain right now...
My old gauges where autometer z-series. They did the job in the function department, but not in the looks lol. These gauges are actually a bit too bright, I thinking of getting a potentiometer to put where my old lock up led is to adjust the brightness of them how I please, but have it set so its where I want it most of the time. Sometimes you just need to see it as bright as you can!
Oh my ICP pressure was because my main engine harness was unplugged on top of the motor when i took the picture. I dont know why it decided to go to that number. The termy/aeroforce gauge is awesome! Its really what its cracked up to be. Its nice to be able to switch from all the different parameters while moving without having a bulky(and in my case broken)laptop to mess around with. I have the option that included the buzz test and contribution test. Well worth the price, considering autoenginuity is about 100+$ more and it can only scan a few extra things. One thing I wish this gauge had was change in cylinder velocity, but with AE I am good to go without it.
I want that termy/aeroforce gauge,is it really as great as they say it is John? Great looking set up the Sports Comps look great.
I've got on as well and it is a great gauge! Got the contribution and buzz test as well. well wortht he money. The first time you need a scan for trouble codes in the middle of no where it will pay for itself.
John, the gauges and head unit look great! I am out of the loop up here, whats up with the motor?
