I am a freshman user. I am trying to pull my engine so I can redue all the gaskets. Before I posted the thread I did search the page. The "Pull engine" thread I can across did not identify how to pull the engine. It talked about whether or not to pull the transmission and engine together. What I needed to find out is how to remove the engine itself so I can replace motor mounts and replace all the gaskets. I appreciate all those who took time from their busy schedules to give me some hints. Last time I checked this was an information sharing site and did not cost anyone any money to read sites. Sorry If I wasted any ones time.
FWIW, I'd be tempted to pull it all together if it looks like it will go. Pull the radiator etc to make room.
The reason has to do with putting it back in. Lining up the trans when you are dropping in an engine is a royal pita. If it's all together, you won't be cussing the clutch fork etc.
Good luck, and feel free to waste my time, I'm on disability and doing nothing other than wondering how I'm ever going to work again after sitting around and increasing my post count past 5000....
