I didn`t think the design of that track was safe but then what do I know......
I`m now finally getting live coverage of the men`s curling so I`m off to watch the end of it!
Definitely been some debate over that track, but then they did adjust it. I would have thought it had to pass some sort of testing before it was sanctioned as safe though?
I have found TSN better than CTVfor live coverage.
we love you always but i do understand.
laurie let me explain something here!! we are all family here. FTE is a big family!
No problem, no offence was taken, nor meant, I was joshing with you. But I do have an attitude, hahaha. And I do miss and love Vancouver. Love you all too.
Im actually kinda amazed at how many people watch the Olympics!
With the exception of the hockey games, i really find them very extremely boring!
I guess you didn't participate in a lot of sports when you were a kid? I took up skating when I was about 3, dance when I was 5, skiing (snow andwater) when I was around 10 or 11. With all those beautiful mountains in my backyard, it was easy to get in to it. I guess you were at a dissadvantage, living in Sask. where all you can do on a flat surface is skate and play hockey, haha
Oh no Laurie, exactly opposite! Our farm was maybe 8 miles from the Wapati Valley ski hill, and while its not like the mountains, its still skiing! Ive curled till about grade 11, played hockey till about the same (started on skates around the same time as I could walk haha), plus just about every indoor and outdoor summer sport you can imagine, I think the only few exceptions are lacrosse, and volleyball!
We also grew up about 1/4 mile away from Codette lake, and did a ton of water skiing, fishing, hunting, stc.
I just cant stand watching sports, but LOVE playing them!
