Anyone have suggestions for sealing the threads on the bleed plug at the top of the water outlet? (I gather all the aftermarket units have the threaded plug, although the original did not)
I tried varying amounts of teflon tape (from 1-4 wraps); I also tried Bars-Leaks pellets. There is still seepage of coolant. I am reluctant to put permatex silicone on the threads because I am worried about pieces breaking off and clogging the radiator or heater core.
