This forum has been invaluable to me. If I add up the money I have saved by not taking my trucks into the shop, and add that to the time I have saved researching and talking to parts guys and mechanics, and multiply that by the frustrations it has prevented, well, the dollar value would be scarey. This forum is better than any other because of a few true professionals and experts that volunteer their time to help us. We need to give a little back. Has this forum ever done awards? I'm thinking 1) most helpful replyer. 2) Best step-by-step intructions. 3) Favorite sponsor. 4) Favorite project truck. 5)?? Have everyone vote and contribute as we are able. Maybe get some sponsors involved. Take the top vote-getters and have a drawing to determine winners, if needed. Who would we need to talk to, to get something like this started? I'll pitch in the first $50. Ya, I know all you wise-guys will chime in with your hand out. But it is a serious question. Think about how much these folks has honestly saved you. Their time is no less valuable than ours. They need to buy fuel, too. What do you think? Kirt
Kirt I hear ya. It could be hard to say who would be our best candidates and at the current moment I'd be lucky to donate 2 cents. But I like the idea. Might make this the best forum to go with the best trucks.
Yeah age requirements for this place would be great!!!! I hate how people beg to get people feed back when they post some thing childish!!! And others that post in every topic just to get to a senior member status if they would reply in one or two and actually be of some help I wouldn't say jack honest.
not really liking the age requirement. seen guys younger than me (i'm 20 years old) handle a wrench like its part of their hand. But the probation period is a good one.

Ok I don’t want to discourage any one from this site because of age or any other reason just take the criticism as learning experience. Try to see that some people are annoyed faster then others and see some things as childish. Really take in the humor and try to add to it. Take in the knowledge and store it so you can help people gather material and study it for the same reason. If you need to receive feed back for some thing you posted then maybe your posting for the wrong reasons. This is not a popularity club. People will post feed back to your profile if they understand how to and really fill you helped them out. So just enjoy the site and learn to love Fords!!!
